Our Purpose

The Gathering House exists to share the gospel with college students by expanding ‘home’ to foster Christian relationship and discipleship.”

Main Objectives:

1. A healthy, home-like atmosphere for students to come and find quiet, rest, recreation, fellowship, community

2. Regular Bible studies and worship times

3. Leadership training

4. Discipleship training

5. Life training-- i.e. cooking, wood-working, gardening, budgeting, relationships

6. “Counseling” for those in need at regular, weekly times by trained parishioners

7. Career counseling

8. Outreach opportunities on campus and in the community

9. Local ministry opportunities ( Safe Harbor, The Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army)

10. Internship opportunities
